Digital Consultant in the age of AI.

I'm Florian Poprat, a digital consultant and Co-Founder of where I work with companies and entrepreneurs on digital strategies, products, AI and automation.
I love to spend the rest of my time experimenting with new technologies and what comes next. I have a strong commitment to our social and environmental responsibility and often work pro bono for projects with a strong impact.

Selected Clients
A small selection of clients I've had the pleasure of working with as an independent consultant, together with the team at PAKD, or during my time at other agencies such as Linkgroup and Hinderling Volkart.
Services
Consulting
Help with the decisions a digital project brings, made with more confidence and fewer surprises — requirements, technology, partners and proposals.
Workshops
Workshops around digital projects, products and AI — including the Open Project Framework, which turns a vague idea into a defined scope in half a day.
Prototyping
Turning early ideas into something tangible — a design prototype or working software — so you can test and learn before building the final product.
AI & Automation
Finding where AI and automation genuinely help: automating repetitive workflows, making company knowledge accessible with RAG, and piloting before rollout.
Digital Products
Shaping websites, apps, platforms and internal tools — independent support on your side of the project, or a full team from PAKD to build it.
Good ideas get better when you test them.
Strategy can point you in the right direction, but you only really start learning once an idea meets reality. I like to turn assumptions into something we can test early, learn from quickly and improve step by step.
The process is deliberately iterative. Ask a question, explore an idea, build just enough to test it, watch what happens and decide what to do next. Repeat the loop and iterate.
What do we want to find out?
Every loop starts with a question. Which assumption are we making? What are we unsure about? What would need to be true for the idea to work? The clearer the question, the easier it becomes to decide what we should test.
Which ideas are on the table?
We explore different ways of answering the question without getting too attached to the first idea. At this stage, range matters more than detail. Sketch it, discuss it, challenge it and keep the options open.
How can we make the idea tangible?
The prototype can be a few screens, a clickable design or working software. Its job is to make the idea real enough that people can use it and react to it. It doesn't have to be finished. It has to help us answer the question.
What did the prototype show?
We test, observe and listen. Where do people hesitate? What works immediately? What did we misunderstand? What happens that nobody predicted? Good feedback gives us evidence, not just opinions.
What can we do better?
Now we decide what the evidence means. We might refine the idea, simplify it, test another approach, build the next version or stop pursuing it altogether. Each round should reduce uncertainty and give us a better question for the next one.
Test. Learn. Improve. Repeat.

A small experiment in procedural 3D, scroll-driven storytelling and building visual work with AI.

Around 400 Zürich cafés in one index, built on open data rather than Google, and kept current by everyone who edits the map.

Tezos NFT Analytics
A market analytics and portfolio tool for the Tezos NFT marketplaces. Started in 2021, on ice for now, until the time is right again.
Notes on digital topics
Occasional writing about technology, design, and building products.
All writingGreat work rarely happens alone.
In 2013, I co-founded , a digital agency based in Zürich. When a project calls for a broader set of skills, I work with trusted experts from our team across design, development and project management to turn ideas into robust, production-ready solutions.

I work where ideas, technology and execution meet.
I built my first website in 1995. The web was simpler then, but the core challenge remains the same: how do we use technology to communicate clearly and solve real problems?
Today I work mainly on AI-assisted product development. The tools are changing faster than ever and let us realise new ideas at a pace we have never had before. That makes good consulting, and a genuine appetite for experimenting, matter all the more.
